Tennessee Section ITE Mission Statement
The mission of The Institute of Transportation Engineers – Tennessee Section (TSITE) is the professional development and growth of the traffic and transportation industry, promoting safe and efficient flow of people, goods and services. TSITE will work diligently with the Institute of Transportation Engineers – Southern District (SDITE) and The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) to maintain and further enhance our professional organization by developing and supporting safe standards and sound guidelines for the practice of traffic and transportation engineering.

Some of the highlights of the summer meeting include a welcome reception on Wednesday evening, technical sessions, and the awards banquet and scholarship auction on Thursday evening.

For the second year in a row, Jason Carder is organizing a sporting clays event on Wednesday morning before the meeting. He's working with Iron Mountain Sporting Clays to get everything set for our group. Exact details are still being worked out, but expect to begin the day at 8:45 AM. Tickets will be available as an add-on to your registration. Once again, the Annual Putt-Putt Tournament will take place on Thursday afternoon. The winner gets the trophy and bragging rights for the year.
Don't forget about the Student Scholarship Auction! Be prepared to bring some great items and take even better ones home with you!
Our Students
There are currently six ITE student chapters within the boundaries of TSITE. However, a student at any other Tennessee college or university can become an ITE student member subject to the eligibility requirements described above.
Since 1991, TSITE has awarded 105 scholarships totaling $155,300!
