Please mark your calendar for our upcoming Summer Meeting being held from Thursday, August 5th to Saturday, August 7th in Chattanooga at the Historic Sheraton Read House Hotel.
TSITE Summer Meeting Information:
Registration cost for this 3-day meeting: $105.00. This covers everything as noted on the attached agenda including the boat trip Friday afternoon and the Lookouts baseball game Friday evening.
Notes: 1. Please be aware that there will not be a one-day or two-day reduced registration cost if you cannot attend the full meeting.
2. On-line registration at www.tsite.org will be active soon. Please sign up if you are planning to attend the summer meeting. Even though walk-ups are always welcomed, this helps us gauge the number of persons attending in advance.
Optional field trips on Saturday: The other attachment is information on Saturday’s Field Trips including the breakdown of costs for each field trip. If you are interested in either field trip, please contact John Van Winkle at (423) 643-5950 or vanwinkle@chattanooga.gov for reservations.
Note: Please be aware that if you sign-up for one of the field trips that triggers a group reservation discount, you will be charged for the field trip even if you do not attend it.
Hotel Reservation: $99.00 each night for non-government persons / $87.00 each night for government persons (Ask for this Tennessee Section ITE Discounted Rate): For reservations, please call the Sheraton Read House Hotel at (423) 266-4121 and ask for “Reservations”.
TSITE Scholarship Auction on Thursday: If you are going to the Summer (Annual) Meeting, please remember to bring one or more items to be auctioned off to support the TSITE Scholarship Program.
If you are not going to the meeting, you can still support the TSITE Scholarship Program. To do this, please pick up an item or two and find someone that is going to the meeting and who will bring the item(s) to the meeting. If you cannot find someone, please send the items(s) to me along with a note from you/your organization and I will take them on your behalf to the meeting.
