Congratulations to the University of Tennessee Knoxville for winning this year’s traffic bowl at our virtual winter meeting! It was a great competition with four schools represented: The University of Tennessee, Vanderbilt University, Tennessee Tech and the University of Memphis. The University of Tennessee Knoxville will represent TSITE at the Southern District (SDITE) virtual meeting on April 12th-16th. Special thanks to Trey Todd, Bryan Bartnik and Steve Allen for pulling off the first ever virtual traffic bowl.

Please plan to join us virtually for our Winter meeting on Thursday February 25th.  A draft meeting agenda is now available. The free meeting will be start at 10:30 am central and end at approximately 2:00 pm central. It will include a virtual student traffic bowl, two presentations, and a business meeting. PDH certificates will be provided to those that attend.

What: Tennessee Section ITE 2020 Fall Meeting
When: Tuesday, October 27th – Thursday October 29th (9 am – 1 pm central time)

Registration is now open for the fall meeting. This meeting will be a virtual joint meeting with the Highway Safety and Operations Conference and ITSTN. The virtual meetings will start promptly at 9:00 AM and should adjourn by 1:00 PM central each day.  WebEx Links for each day can be found on the meeting registration page and will also be included in the registration confirmation email. The TSITE business meeting will be held on Tuesday after the daily session, a separate teams link will be provided for this meeting. This is a free meeting, PDHs will be provided for registered attendees who attend. A link for the agenda can be found below. The daily sessions will include welcome addresses from TDOT Commissioner Clay Bright, FHWA Division Administrator Pamela Kordenbrock and DSHS Commissioner Jeff Long.
