MMTA Stakeholder Meeting Announcement

Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) is currently in the final stage of updating their Traffic Impact Study Guideline for new development. As a reminder, the update is intended to modernize the 2004 Guidelines to bring them in better alignment with the multimodal nature of the Nashville region and provide additional clarity of study expectations.

The new Multimodal Transportation Analysis (MMTA) Guideline is now available for public comment. The guideline document, an example MMTA, and FAQs are located on our project webpage: https://www.nashville.gov/departments/transportation/developers/multimodal-transportation-analysis.

To give those involved in the MMTA review process a better understanding of the changes to the process and requirements, a stakeholder meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 6th from 2:00-3:30 PM CST. The project team will provide an overview of the changes, walk through an example MMTA, and answer questions from the group. For flexibility, the event will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams Webinar (no license required). Questions or comments prior to the meeting can be sent to ndotmmtareview@nashville.gov.
