TSITE Officer Election – Reminder to Vote
As we move towards ONE ITE there are two changes to our previous ballots.
• This year’s ballot does not include an Affiliate Director position since ITE has eliminated Section Affiliate Membership. ITE and the TN Section invites all section affiliates to join ITE for full membership. TSITE thanks the current and all past Affiliate Directors for their service and contribution to the organization in that role.
• All Sections of ITE will include two (2) Section Representatives beginning in 2020. With Terrance Hill and Lauren Gaines completing their terms we will only select one of the two terrific candidates on this year’s ballot. The elected member will serve with Steve Bryan as TSITE’s Section Representatives for 2020.
Online voting closes Monday July 29th so please cast your vote now. Votes will be tallied and the elected 2020 TSITE Officers will be announced at the Summer Meeting.

2019 Traffic Bowl Winners

Congratulations to the University of Tennessee for winning this year’s traffic bowl at the winter meeting in Nashville. It was a great competition with three schools represented: Tennessee State University, the University of Tennessee and the University of Memphis. The University of Tennessee will represent TSITE at the Southern District (SDITE) Annual Meeting on March 31 – April 3, 2019 in Arlington, Virginia.
Winter Meeting Parking Details
We had a suggestion for inclusion of a TSU parking map, so please see below for a parking map and parking permit for Lots K and L for the TSITE Winter Meeting. This permit should be displayed in your vehicles front left dash. This permit does not permit parking in areas marked “Fire Lane” or “No Parking”, nor does it allow parking in a “Reserved” space that is not shown on the front side.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Winter Meeting.
Revised Sponsorships for 2019
The TSITE Board decided at the 2018 year end board meeting to simplify the way sponsorships are collected. Sponsors will now be solicited once per year before the winter meeting. Sponsorships are available at four different tiers and cover all section meetings for the year, the winter traffic bowl and the website. This method allows companies to make a one time payment per year instead of receiving multiple requests from TSITE throughout the year for various events. Additional information can be found here.
